Well it was recently revealed by DSP Media that KARA would be unable to attend Fuji Television’s end of the year festival because of scheduling reasons.
DSP revealed, “We were invited to the FNS Music Festival, but due to conflicting schedules in Korea, we had to turn it down.
KARA will begin promotions in Korea this week, and are expected to stay in the country through December. They will begin their comeback performances on November 20th through Music Core.

KARA turns down FNS Music Festival due to scheduling conflicts

With news surfacing a few days ago that SNSD would be performing in Japan’s FNS Music Festival on December 4th, netizens wondered whether KARA would be doing the same.
Well it was recently revealed by DSP Media that KARA would be unable to attend Fuji Television’s end of the year festival because of scheduling reasons.
DSP revealed, “We were invited to the FNS Music Festival, but due to conflicting schedules in Korea, we had to turn it down.
KARA will begin promotions in Korea this week, and are expected to stay in the country through December. They will begin their comeback performances on November 20th through Music Core.

Taste a little bit of Big Bang flavor in Japan

From November 21st to December 12th Japanese ice cream and pastries company, Marvelous Cream will offer a special edition of ice cream featuring the members of Big Bang. The flavors are Strawberry Rose Chocolate for G-Dragon, Chocolate Banana for SOL (Taeyang), Strawberry Azuki Beans for T.O.P, Melon Milk Cake for D-Lite (Daesung) and Raspberry White Chocolate for V.I. (Seungri). Each ice cream includes different layers of ice cream for fans to enjoy.
The layer and menu for the individual ice cream flavors were ideas provided by each of the members of Big Bang. The entire box set including all 5 flavors will cost 2,300 yen or around $27 US.



4minute unveils tracklists + covers for first Japanese album!

Powerhouse K-pop girl group 4minute is gearing up to release their very first Japanese album! Titled “DIAMOND“, it will be released in two formats, CD and CD+DVD, on December 15th. Although originally listed for release on December 1st, the album was revealed to have been pushed back two weeks through 4minute’s official Japanese site.
The album is set to include the group’s first three singles, “Muzik“, “I My Me Mine“, and “FIRST“. B-sides from those singles, such as “Dreams Come True” and “Goodbye”, did not make the final cut.
The album will also include a mix of songs from their first and second Korean mini-albums, “For Muzik” and “Hit Your Heart”, as well as some new tracks.

KARA to auction off personal items for charity

The ladies of KARA have apparently created a charitable fund on their online shopping mall, ‘Karaya‘. In order to garner funds for the charity they’re sponsoring, members Park Gyuri, Goo Hara, and Kang Jiyoung will be auctioning off clothes and accessories from their activities in Japan.
All items will start off as 10 cents, and the auctions will end on the 30th of November. All proceeds will go to the charity, ‘Blue Neighbor‘, which caters to the needs of orphanages and convalescent homes.
Meanwhle, they’ll be performing on the 19th on Asahi TV’s music program “Music Station“, before flying back to Korea on the 20th to debut their new single ”Jumping” through “Music Core.”

Kimura Takuya parodies the KARA “butt” dance

Top Japanese star Kimura Takuya showed off his dance skills by shaking his hips to the famous KARAMister” song.
He recently appeared on TBS’s “Ochano Mizu Hakase” where he parodied the infamous ‘butt’ dance. The star is a huge male icon in Japan, so it’s no passing incident for him to know the “Mister” dance.
Fans of KARA in Korea are reportedly excited that their favorite girl group is achieving such fame in their neighbor country.
The episode will be broadcast on the 30th (KST).

U-KISS invited to perform in Singapore’s ‘The Kings of Freedom Concert’

Idol group U-KISS will be driving their Singaporean fans wild!
The group departed from Korea on November 19th in order to attend “The Kings of Freedom Concert” in Singapore. The concert is a community-outreach effort, sponsored by the Youth Empire, to promote harmony within the multi-cultural community. The event will begin at 8PM at Bedok Reservoir Park.
With many top Singaporean celebrities in attendance, U-KISS is the only international artist to be invited. The group recently took #1 on a popularity poll for international artists in Singapore, and was even extended a special invite by Singapore’s Foreign Minister, George Yeo.
The boys will be performing songs like “Shut Up!,” “Man Man Ha Ni,” and “Bingeul Bingeul.
U-KISS stated, “It’s an incredible honor to be able to participate in one of Singapore’s biggest concerts. As representatives of Korea, we will show them the charm of Korean music.”

Orange Caramel returns with ‘A~ing♡’ on Music Bank

Having charmed with ‘Magic Girl‘ for their debut, the Orange Caramel girls are back with their 2nd mini album as they begun their full-fledged promotions starting with Music Bank on November 19th.
The girls don’t deviate much from their cutesy bubblegum pop style with their new title song, ‘A~ing♡‘, and it is sure to enchant once again with their colorful concept and cheerful melody.
